F1963 도서관은 지난 수세기 동안 인류가 만들어 온 세계의 건축, 음악, 미술, 사진에 관한 책들을 소장하고 있는 예술전문도서관으로 예술에 대한 다양한 지식과 정보를 제공하고 여러 문화활동을 통해 예술과 문화를 향유하는 공간입니다.
F1963 도서관은 국내외 분야별 전문가들과 협업을 통해 선정한 근.현대 예술 서적, 국내외 작가들 작품집, 각 분야 대표 정기간행물을 보유하고 있으며 클래식 전문가의 추천을 통해 유명 공연 음반 등 귀중한 자료를 수집하고 있습니다. F1963 도서관은 앞으로도 예술자료를 지속적으로 수집하고 보존해 시대를 초월한 가치를 알리기 위한 활동을 펼쳐 나갈 예정입니다.

A new space to experience the world of the arts through books
The F1963 Art Library was created in 2016 by remodeling a wire factory first built in 1963 into a cultural space. The introduction of this space bears important, creative value not only as an example of physical regeneration within an urban setting, but also as a means of enabling individuals to rediscover their emotional and spiritual wealth through arts and culture.
The World Of The Arts
Through Books
The F1963 Art Library is an arts library that houses books by experts on global architecture, music, arts, and photography that humanity has developed over the past thousands of years. The goal of this library is to provide knowledge and information on the arts and serve as a space for artistic and cultural enrichment through various cultural activities.
The texts that can be found at the F1963 Art Library were selected through careful cooperation with domestic and overseas experts in various subject areas, and they include modern and contemporary arts publications, collections of artworks from domestic and international artists, and representative periodicals from each subject area. Furthermore, through the recommendations of classical experts, the library also holds audio records from famous performances and other rare, invaluable resources. Moving forward, it is the goal of the F1963 Art Library to continue collecting and preserving arts resources and to promote activities that share values that transcend generations.

The F1963 Art Library is home to the collections of professional photographers from Korea and abroad, whose works were selected from the recommendation of Korean photography experts. Visitors can also find various photographic works that received prestigious awards from abroad, along with must-read texts covering theories in the field of photography.
Music
Visitors can find theoretical texts on the history of music spanning from classical to modern times, as well as famous domestic and overseas music records and videos of various performances, all of which were recommended by renowned Korean experts in classical music. There is also audio and video equipment that visitors can experience first-hand. Furthermore, there are plans to provide sheet music, mainly in the style of chamber music, so that musicians and other music enthusiasts can have access to such valuable resources.
Architecture
The F1963 has a collection of world architecture theory and history, works by architects from Korea and abroad, and books covering their architectural world. Visitors can view the collections of overseas artists who have been awarded with the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize, as well as enjoy easy access to renowned architectural magazines, such as El Croquis, which are otherwise difficult to find.
Rare Books
Continuous efforts are made to collect rare books both from Korea and other countries, with plans to incorporate them in book exhibits that can shed a new light on the value of books that transcend generations.
